The Washington State Ferry will take commuters to Seattle on just a mere 60 minute trip across the scenic 17 mile ride.  Because the turn of the century homes and the waterfront condos are much more affordable then in King County many residents purchase properties and live in Bremerton while commuting to the big city of Seattle for jobs.

Bremerton is the largest populated City in Kitsap County with over 38,000 residents it also has an expansive community college known as Olympic College. The bridge to Manette another historic and touristy area now was built in the 1930’s and replaced a few times since which connects  East Bremerton to downtown. And in the 1970’s the Warren Ave Bridge was also built streamlining the access to East Bremerton as the city continued to grow and the Navy made Bangor home to the Trident Nuclear Submarine Fleet.

Bremerton has a waterfront boardwalk, marina, hotel and conference center. It also has a History Navy Museum and for years was the home of the USS Missouri.

Waterfront Condos have replaced many of the parking lots and old buildings in downtown Bremerton of recent as well as the Harbor side fountain park adjacent to the Harbor side Condos.  Every year the BlackBerry Festival is held where the overgrown blackberry bushes have been replaced with beautiful view restaurants and hotels.  Bremerton  is enjoying new rebirth with the incoming redevelopment  making it a great location for day cruising to the big city and good for home purchase options due to pricing and affordability.
